We got lots of snow yesterday. The boys had fun playing in it today.

We hope to have a new medical report to share soon.

Merry Christmas!
We hope you had a wonderful Christmas! Its sad that we missed Nora's first Christmas but we know she was surrounded by love with her foster family. Next year she will be older and start to understand it more so it will be more fun anyways. Shes 5 months old today.
The boys had a great holiday. They enjoyed all their gifts and being surrounded by family. Ryan would get so excited after each gift screaming what it was. Evan would open a few then stop. He just wanted to play with each thing. He started pulling down his pants trying to get on his new underwear even. They are now quietly playing with all their goodies as I catch up on laundry.

December Surprise Visit

KO-Previo
Our file got a previo yesterday.
I guess a temporary reviewer kicked us out for not seeing our FBI clearance letters. They were IN the file, the reviewer just didnt see them.
So, FTC has a letter written up with fresh copies and is resubmitting us asap.
Glad it was a quick fix and all we can hope is it speeds thru now as it really was THEIR error.
This means we have to start over in the PGN process which takes about 8-10 weeks. Our file goes thru 2 reviewers then "the boss" Barrios reviews again and finalizes. We believe it was a temporary second reviewer who kicked our file out this time.
Also this week new Guatemalan adoption laws were approved in Guatemalan congress. All in process cases (agency is awaiting clarification of that) WILL be allowed to continue. This could mean delays though starting next year.

November Surprise Visit

4 weeks
In PGN. We could be halfway thru, we could get kicked out and have to start all over. I dont want a call from our agency with a kick out.
Heres pics of the boys. Ryan before his school holiday concert last week. Then silly Evan. They were playing downstairs when I heard weird noises. Somehow Evan had pulled it out from the storage way in back and jumped in.

Nora 4 month medical
No smiling for Nora at picture time yesterday. Shes getting so big. She laughs out loud and "vocalizes her eagerness". I think that means cries like crazy when hungry. Hehe. She has good control of her neck muscles and can lift head clear from the bed when on tummy. Her foster mom is still doing a great job taking care of our little girl.
She is up to 12lbs 9oz and 22.5 inches long.
